Throughout their dynasty, the Golden State Warriors have often not been a very active team at the trade deadline.

With a record of 18–22, it is anticipated that the Warriors will improve their record this season as they will almost definitely make changes to their roster, which has shown to be subpar.

In a recent podcast episode, Warriors forward Draymond Green discussed his ideas on how the team would approach the trade deadline as well as his reaction to seeing his name mentioned in various trade rumors.

“There’s been a lot of trade rumors,” Green said. “I know my name has come up, I know everyone’s name has come up except for Steph Curry.

To be honest, I have not thought about it one bit… I mean if you’re 18-22, how can you question anything someone does? We’ve never really been an active team at the trade deadline.

However, we also have a new GM, and Mike [Dunleavy] has been incredible, by the way. He could work differently than Bob [Myers], he could be more aggressive at the trade deadline than Bob. I don’t know, I don’t really have a feel for it… Do I think I’ll be traded? I hope not.”
