Ex-Rangers striker Cedric Itten reveals Tartan Army ticket bombardment

Former Rangers striker Cedric Itten has disclosed that the Tartan Army has been requesting tickets for Switzerland’s Euro 2024 campaign in droves.

Itten moved to Young Boys for £1.5 million in the summer of 2022, returning to his native country. In 33 games, he only managed six league goals for Rangers, with just eight of those coming from starts.

However, in the Swiss Super League, where he has an amazing record of 23 goals in just 25 league starts, his career has taken off and he was called up to the national team.

He is expected to play again after recovering from a ruptured ligament in his foot earlier in the season, and he is practically guaranteed to be included in the Swiss team for the Euros, where they will play Scotland in the second group match in Cologne.

And Scotland is showing a lot of interest in him at the moment.

“My Scottish friends are already ecstatic about the Euros!” he exclaimed.
