Celtic and Rangers dealt Owen Beck transfer blow
Following his appearance for Jurgen Klopp’s team today,
Owen Beck, a defender for Liverpool,
has handed a blow to both Celtic and Rangers in their pursuit of him.
The Welshman caught the eye of Glasgow’s top two players in January after spending the first part of the season on loan at Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.
This month, Beck was brought back by Liverpool,
and rumors circulated that Celtic and Rangers were considering making a move for the young player.
However, Beck will not be returning to Scotland this season, having replaced Klopp’s squad during today’s Premier League match against Bournemouth.
Following his 83-minute substitution of Conor Bradley at the Vitality Stadium,
the 21-year-old is now only permitted to play for Liverpool and Dundee this season due to FIFA regulations.
