Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Claim Packers Verbal Abuse: ‘Verge Of Tears’ in Playoffs

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders took exception to actions by some Green Bay Packers players during Sunday’s game

The Dallas Cowboys’ playoff defeat to the Green Bay Packers was not enjoyable for anyone, but the cheerleaders may have taken the brunt of it unfairly.

Darian Lassiter, a member of the Cowboys’ cheerleading squad, posted a video on TikTok Wednesday claiming that Packers players yelled at and insulted

cheerleaders during the game, particularly after touchdowns.

“I have never experienced such disrespect from the other teams players to the cheerleaders in my five years as an NFL cheerleader,” Lassiter said. “The

Packers just scored a touchdown, this is just one example, they would come up to us, standing on the sidelines, minding our own business, and start yelling

at us.

“I feel like that’s unsportsmanlike conduct and it’s so crazy how they can do that. They can’t do that to the Cowboys’ players or any other players. But they

can do it to the cheerleaders and nothing’s going to happen.”

Fellow Cowboys cheerleader Jensen Merrill corroborated Lassiter’s claims, commenting that she was “literally on the verge of tears.” Other cheerleaders

have also expressed their displeasure at the Packers’ actions on Lassiter’s video, per The Huffington Post.

There is a level of intensity that comes with football games, but if Lassiter’s claims are true, disrespecting opposing team’s cheerleaders is definitely a step too far.

With Green Bay moving on to play the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, Lassiter is hoping for some swift justice to come the Packers’ way.
