Chicago Bears: DJ Moore interested in staying in Chicago permanently

DJ Moore, a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears, had an excellent rookie campaign. He declared that he wanted to live there permanently because it was so amazing.
For the second year in a row, the Chicago Bears are considering making a franchise-changing choice. They will again be selected first in the NFL Draft. General manager Ryan Poles traded that pick last season for a haul that will be profitable for years to come.
The Carolina Panthers and the Bears exchanged first-round selections. They also acquired wide receiver DJ Moore, a 2024 first-round pick, a 2025 second-round pick, and a 2023 second-round pick.

They selected cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and offensive lineman Darnell Wright with the 2023 picks; both players had excellent rookie campaigns. The benefits for the Bears might now last for even longer years with another #1 pick.
Moore was one of the best things about the transaction. In the end, 2023 proved to be his career season with the Bears. He totaled 8 touchdowns and 1,364 receiving yards on 96 catches. In the history of the team, his receiving yards were the fourth-most in a season.

Wide receiver DJ Moore of the Chicago Bears wants to play for the remainder of his career because he had such a fantastic season.

Moore had a great time throughout his Chicago season. He recently said that he wanted to spend the remainder of his career there as he was enjoying it so much.

“I plan to stay here for at least five years before maybe retiring. That is the ultimate aim.

I had assumed that I would stay in Carolina indefinitely. I wish to stay here for a longer period of time than the five years I spent there. That is something I am eager to see.

Do the Bears decide not to keep Fields?

For the Bears, the question of what becomes of Justin Fields is crucial. There have been glimpses of his potential. Has he demonstrated enough, though, to stay in Chicago? If Poles isn’t persuaded, he may still choose to keep him and assemble an elite squad. The attack may still be so strong even if Fields isn’t the right fit that another player could excel in his place.

Moore has thoughts about the subject. His relationship with Fields was, at the very least, a contributing factor to his stellar season. In their first season together, this pair was fantastic.

It would not be surprising, then, that Moore would love to have Fields return. He has strong feelings about Fields and the top two quarterback prospects. Moore is adamant that neither Williams nor Drake Maye, another top quarterback prospect, are better than Fields. Moore solidly supports his quarterback. Another wrinkle in this situation is the possibility of having Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who is thought to be the best non-quarterback prospect in the draft. The duo was fantastic in their first season together. In the games that Fields missed, Moore averaged 52.8 receiving yards and had zero touchdowns.

Chicago Bears supporters drool at the idea of Harrison and Moore teaming up to support Fields. Their skills would immediately enhance any offense. Furthermore, it would be beneficial if Poles traded the first pick in addition to having access to all the other picks. Do Poles avoid the likelihood of this? We’ll soon find out.
