CeeDee Lamb’s Mom Calls Out Dak Prescott, Causing More Problems For The Dallas Cowboys
These days,
it feels like the Dallas Cowboys are more of a soap drama than a football team.
Hot comments and viral headlines are constantly being produced by the never-ending turmoil involving quarterback Dak Prescott,
owner Jerry Jones,
head coach Mike McCarthy, and associates.
They don’t need family support,
but it seems like that’s precisely what occurred when superstar wide receiver CeeDee Lamb’s mother apparently posted a negative comment about Dak Prescott on Facebook.
Leta Ramirez is CeeDee Lamb’s mother, as far as I can tell.
The message appears to have been made on Sunday,
the day Dallas was ousted by Green Bay from the NFL Playoffs.
No Cowboys supporter can possibly be pleased about this.
It is absolutely impossible for an NFL family member to be caught talking poorly about the quarterback while engaging in this behavior.
This is especially true if the person is connected to a standout wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys.
That will not go over well in the locker room,
it will undoubtedly lead to tensions between Prescott and Lamb,
and it will merely add to the already excessive number of distractions for a franchise.
It is accurate to say that Dak Prescott struggled in Sunday’s devastating 48-32 home playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.
After Dallas had given up two interceptions in the first half,
including a pick-six, the score was 27-0.
Nevertheless, Prescott had an incredible season,
throwing for 36 touchdowns and 4,500 yards with just 9 interceptions.
CeeDee Lamb also received a good portion of those yards and completions.
Lamb caught 135 catches for 1,749 yards and 12 touchdowns in his rookie season. Yes,
the Cowboys were eliminated from the postseason once more,
but it appears that this is more of a cultural problem than a Dak Prescott problem.
However, Dak Prescott made a ton of money for CeeDee Lamb,
so this summer, he’s probably going to earn an extension.
If someone helped my kid land a contract worth over $100 million,
I for one would not hold it against them.
Mike McCarthy will now have to deal with this as the team decided to bring him back this week. Mike,
welcome back!
