Barry Ferguson shares ‘no doubt’ Rangers January transfer verdict as new forward arrival mooted at Ibrox

Barry Ferguson suggester there is “no doubt” Rangers must sign at least one new forward in a new admission about the January transfer window at Ibrox.
So far, the only arrival on the blue side of Glasgow this month has been Fabio Silva,
with the Portuguese forward joining Philippe Clement’s ranks at Ibrox on loan from Wolves for the remainder of the season.Ferguson, however, has pushed Clement to begin “wheeling and dealing”

as he has urged the Light Blues to add to their misfiring frontline before the end of the month, knowing that the window is becoming closer and closer.

He stated, “There’s no doubt about it, I still think they need another forward player,”

on The Go Radio Football Show on January 19, at 14:50.

Sima is obviously not playing for his country, and the management undoubtedly wants to bolster everyone on the field.

But when it comes to money, he’ll have to play a little sleight of hand.

Sincerely, I believe he knows what he wants; the question is whether he’ll get it now or in the summer, but I have no doubt he’ll give it his all.

“I have no doubt that the Rangers board will make every effort to assist him in achieving that.”

It was thought that Clement would finally be ready to make an impact

on this Rangers team with a few high-caliber players to help the Gers advance and defeat Celtic going into the January transfer window at Ibrox.

But after 20 days, there has been very little business coming in; Silva is the only new employee,

and there isn’t any sign that any more will be joining very soon.

It might make for an extremely uncomfortable second half of the season at Ibrox

this year if Rangers don’t get things going and Clement doesn’t start scheming to make sure his team can keep up with Celtic.

As Ferguson said, let’s hope the Belgian and Clement keep giving it their all and the Gers can get at least one more striker over the finish line before the end of January.
