Son of Celtic legend poised for debut against Rangers after joining Dumbarton on loan
GAllagher Lennon, who recently joined on loan from St Mirren, will start for Dumbarton in Saturday’s
Scottish Gas Scottish Cup match against Rangers.
For the duration of the current League Two season, the son of former Celtic manager Neil Lennon has
committed to the winning team.
The 18-year-old defender, a Northern Ireland youth international, could make his debut in the fourth-
round clash against the Light Blues at The Dumbarton Stadium.
“Dumbarton Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Gallagher Lennon from SPFL
Premiership club St Mirren,” a statement posted on The Sons’ official website said.
The defender, who is signed through the end of the season, will offer competition in the defense’s center of defense.
Gallagher, the son of former Celtic manager Neil, is named right away in the starting lineup for
Saturday’s Scottish Cup matchup against Rangers. Lennon, welcome to Dumbarton!
After leaving Partick Thistle to join St Mirren last summer, Lennon played for Linlithgow Rose on loan
in the Lowland League for the first half of the season.
