Future plans for Ridvan Yilmaz are in jeopardy as Rangers maintain their position, reportedly unmoved by Galatasaray’s rumors of a loan arrangement.

No formal offer has arrived at Ibrox, according to transfer guru Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, despite the player and club allegedly agreeing on personal terms.

With Barisic’s contract about to expire, Clement is limited in left-back alternatives and prefers Yilmaz to stay. The perfect situation for Rangers? Keep the prodigious Turk alive until January. But a hefty £4.3 million price tag might make them reconsider.
“He turned down Galatasaray’s offer. Ridvan Yilmaz is still playing right now, and Philippe Clement doesn’t want to lose him to Galatasaray on loan.

“We do not have an agreement with any team yet,” Ridvan’s crew told me when I spoke with them as well,” Sabuncuoglu stated on the Sports Digitale YouTube channel.

Let me explain: Galatasaray must lend him money through an ordered purchase. They don’t dip below €5m because of this. They will approve his sale and release him if a direct payment of at least €5 million is received. For now though, Ridvan is having fun.

“Ridvan is a professional on the present team that the Rangers are currently in need of. Although there isn’t a circumstance where they wish to get rid of Ridvan, that is the perception. The Verona move has been discussed; let’s not overlook them. They will purchase Ridvan if they sell their left back. The foreign press has reported on the cancellation of that move.

Agreement with Galatasaray

Rangers have the upper hand because of this refusal to sell. Clement’s wish and the fact that there hasn’t been an agreement with Galatasaray yet improve their negotiation position. Yilmaz’s departure now would be a defensive setback because Barisic is departing in the summer.

Furthermore, Yilmaz is content in Scotland and has no plans to return to the Super Lig anytime soon, according to recent reports from Turkish-Football. This is especially true for Besiktas, a rival team where he progressed through the youth ranks prior to joining Rangers. Yilmaz left Besiktas to join Rangers, and at this point in his career, he does not want to play for an Istanbul rival team. His goal is to advance in Europe, and following injury issues, he made his team debut recently.
