After yet another unsuccessful season in The Bayou, the New Orleans Saints choose to be patient in 2024 and leave head coach Dennis Allen in place.
The Saints’ record was 9-8, meaning they missed the playoffs in Allen’s second campaign. In his debut season with the team, he finished 7–10.
General manager Mickey Loomis justified the team’s choice to move forward with Allen by pointing to the accomplishments of some renowned coaches early in their careers.
