The teammates of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen respond to his 52-yard touchdown run

Josh Allen, the quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, stunned his colleagues with a 52-yard touchdown rush on Monday night, helping the team advance to the NFL Playoffs divisional round by defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers 31–17.
The responses are usually the same, even though Bills Mafia has grown accustomed to Allen performing incredible things and watching the 6’5″, 240-pound quarterback sprint over (and occasionally jump over) opponents to pick up necessary yards or avoid a sack. When people witness Allen’s valiant deeds, there are always a ton of insightful comments to make from fans, celebrities, and analysts.

What about colleagues, though? Following the team’s 21-0 victory in the Super Wild Card Weekend round on Monday, Allen’s coaches and teammates shared their thoughts as they watched the franchise quarterback tear up the field and through the end zone, posing for pictures and giving his team a lead.
Joe Brady, the interim offensive coordinator, may have begun the play by telling his quarterback to slide, but by the time the play was over, he was clearly pleased with the outcome.
Ed Oliver, a defensive tackle, says he called the game, but since he stated he did so “in his head,” we will never be able to verify if he is telling the truth.
Khalil Shakir, a wide receiver, called the entire event “jaw dropping.”

The play even impressed veteran center Mitch Morse, who claimed they ask Allen to slide.

Allen, on the other hand, “didn’t slide” even though he knew they wanted him to.
Sean McDermott, the head coach, said, “It’s Josh,” and we all agreed, having spent the last 24 hours watching the play repeatedly and from all perspectives, including this close-up field view.
