Funny enough, Steve Kerr asked for a computer prior to his news appearance. Mike Brown, the head coach of the Kings, had

previously used a laptop at his press conference to draw attention to referee errors.

Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, gave in to the urge to make fun of Mike Brown, the head coach of the

Sacramento Kings. Funny enough, Kerr asked for a computer to be delivered to him just as he was about to sit down to talk with the

media prior to their game versus the Memphis Grizzlies.

“Raymond (Ridder), would you bring the computer up here, please?” Kerr stated. “I was unable to resist. That was very incredible.”

Naturally, he was alluding to the incident in which Brown used a laptop to display the referees’ errors during the Kings’ 143-142 loss to

the Milwaukee Bucks. After being disqualified during the fourth quarter of that match,

he wanted to demonstrate to the reporters why he was so furious.

Given their proximity, Brown is unlikely to take offense at Kerr’s actions. From 2016 until 2022, Brown served as the Warriors’

assistant coach, and he had a significant role in their success. The Warriors wish he was still with them, since he has been greatly

missed since leaving to take a head coaching position with the Kings.

Steve Kerr’s Rant On Modern Referees

Kerr probably wishes he had brought out the laptop when he went on his viral rant about the officials last month. Following a loss to

the Denver Nuggets, Kerr blasted modern referees as Nikola Jokic had 18 free throws in the contest.

“I have a problem with the way we are legislating defense out of the game. We’re just enabling players to BS their way to the foul line.

If I were a fan, I wouldn’t have wanted to watch the second half. It was disgusting.”

No fan wants to see a free throw fest in any game and there were 55 attempts in total in that Warriors-Nuggets contest. It would have

been hilarious had Kerr brought out the laptop then to show how the officials messed up.

Steve Kerr Was Not Smiling After The Grizzlies Game

Although Kerr was beaming when he was making fun of his former helper, he had erased the smile following the Grizzlies game. Even

with players like Marcus Smart, Desmond Bane, and Ja Morant sidelined by injuries, Memphis surprised Golden State by winning

116–107. For a club that isn’t really in a situation where they can afford to lose games like this, it was an embarrassing loss.

The Grizzlies shot just 37.2% from the field in the contest but had a huge edge when it came to threes and free throws. They connected

on 20 shots from beyond the arc compared to just 10 for the Warriors.

Memphis also went 32-40 from the line while Golden State was only 8-10.
