The Gers player wants January escape from Glasgow
Ever since Philippe Clement assumed leadership at Ibrox in October of last year, Rıdvan Yılmaz has been a regular for
Rangers.
So far, Clement has overseen 12 league games for Rangers, and in 10 of those contests, the left-back has made an appearance.
Even so, he continues to be connected to a move in the winter market away from Ibrox.
Reporter Gökmen Özcan from Fanatik announced on X that the 22-year-old intends to quit Rangers this month.
If the Turkey international stays at Ibrox for the remainder of this season, he says he will “play sporadically” under Philippe
Clement.
Because Vincenzo Montella, the manager of Turkey, has insisted that Yılmaz play a regular role for his club, this could affect
his prospects of playing for his country at the Euros.
When considering the aforementioned data, Özcan’s assertion that the defense hasn’t played much for the Rangers boss
doesn’t add up.
When discussing Yılmaz’s option, the journalist states Galatasaray’s attempt to sign him has ended while Hellas Verona are the
most serious option for him now.
On Monday, both Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere Di Veron reported the Serie A side are ‘very close’ to securing the Rangers
fullback’s services.
