Power Rangers leader Philippe Clement is adamant that his team will come home rejuvenated and prepared to dominate the second half of the campaign.

The Ibrox manager has been putting his team through an intense winter training camp in the Spanish resort town of La Manga for the last five days.

The rigorous training included two daily sets of lung-bursting drills designed to build up the reserves of stamina

that Clement believes will be essential for his squad to carry on their positive start under his direction.

His tired Light Blues lost their bounce-game match against Germans Hertha Berlin 1-0 on Saturday. On Monday,

they will return to their Auchenhowie camp, but not before they play another friendly kick about against Copenhagen at Ibrox tomorrow night.

Clement has promised to keep pushing his team in Glasgow.

However, the big Belgian is confident that his players will be back to their best come Saturday’s Scottish Cup trip to Dumbarton.

The team is about to embark on another demanding schedule that may see them play up to 13 games in a mere 58 days.

“We saw good things on a pitch that was not the best,” stated the Ibrox manager,

who was oddly sent out during the Berlin match for berating the referees.

We attempted to create space on a pitch that wasn’t the biggest by playing at a good tempo against a squad that waited for transitions and didn’t want the ball.

Thus, those are the conditions that increase the difficulty of scoring a goal.

I witnessed a lot of players’ strong intentions and effort, which is exactly what we need right now.

The players will go particularly deep this week and the following week,

so they will benefit financially in the upcoming weeks.

However, it will grant them greater abilities over the ensuing several months.

Borna Barisic, Tom Lawrence, and Ryan Jack returned to training with the Gers on the trip, following their previous layoffs.

The game was resolved by Berlin captain Marc Oliver Kempf’s header in the first half.

The newly returning Nico Raskin and Rabbi Matondo were also given the chance to bolster their fitness levels as they began against Hertha,

along with the club’s lone January recruit Fabio Silva.

However, after being abandoned in Scotland, long-term crocks Danilo and Kemar Roofe were nowhere to be seen.

Furthermore, Clement acknowledges that he still doesn’t know if either frontman will return this season.

“Danilo and Kemar are not here,” the Ibrox gaffer stated before taking off from southern Spain.

It is evident that they will not be accessible for the upcoming few weeks, since they should be present.

Ask me if they will play again this season in two or three months.

There is still a lot of work left in the season. That is a tad premature.

“Ryan Jack has resumed his training,

but we need to gradually increase his volume because of his past ailments. We’re still getting ready.

We’re not there yet

Tom Lawrence, Ryan Jack, and Borna Barisic were not present for the game on Saturday.

Although they had different training, they are also recovering from an injury.

Therefore, the entire team isn’t now prepared. Although we are aware of this,

we will work hard over the coming weeks to increase the number of players who are available.

Clement spent his evenings having one-on-one conversations with his soldiers to ensure he wasted no time on the journey.

Amidst the club’s frantic schedule,

the manager’s opportunity to sit down and try to figure out what motivates his players was rare.

He also claims that the intense training sessions he has given them on the pitch have not been as significant as those private conversations.

“We’ve been doing two sessions a day,” he stated.

Although I’ve been having one-on-one conversations with the players until eleven o’clock in the evenings,

you still need to prepare the training.

“After that, training is scheduled until 12:30 or 1 pm the following day, and then it resumes at 7 am.

However, those discussions are quite crucial. You learn a great deal more information.

Together with the physical staff, the entire staff of mine has worked on it.

Every player has goals that they must meet over the following few months.

That is the most significant thing from this week,

along with the physical nature of the workout.

Every player can have a concise backstory,

and we can discuss the positive and negative aspects of the previous few weeks and months as well as how we can improve everyone.
