The moment the Warriors coach took the platform to speak with the media prior to Monday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies, he

made fun of Mike Brown, a close friend and former assistant coach.

Kerr. In his second season as the Sacramento Kings’ head coach, Brown provided a visual summary of his grievances with the

refereeing that resulted in his dismissal during the Kings’ 143-142 overtime loss against the Milwaukee Bucks.

In an apparent attempt to get the attention of an official, Brown seemed to unintentionally collide with Bucks player Pat Connaughton

during the fourth quarter at Fiserv Forum, leading to Brown’s ejection.

Brown had plenty of time at the postgame stage to compile his proof and produce the receipts, with nineteen seconds left in regulation

and five minutes added to the overtime period. And he carried it out.

The excitement and controversy certainly brought attention to the game, but Sacramento’s defeat was sealed by Bucks star guard

As an assistant coach, Brown worked for six seasons with Kerr and the Warriors. Although they are now competitors in Northern
