Kosta Nedeljkovic from Crvena Zvezda is almost certain to join Aston Villa in a £6.5 million deal with add-ons.

After joining Villa, the 18-year-old right-back is scheduled to be loaned back to his previous team. According to reports in Serbia, the agreement also includes a sell-on option that will give Crvena Zvezda a 12 percent

part of any future earnings on the player.

Although Nedeljkovic only made his first-team debut in August, he has made 12 league appearances this season. Additionally, he has made four appearances for Crvena Zvezda in their group stage matches against RB

Leipzig, Manchester City, and Young Boys in the Champions League this season.

Calum Chambers is one of the few players who can play right-back, but he will be free to leave Villa even if Nedeljkovic won’t be playing until at least the next season. Ezri Konsa has played right-back a lot this season,

but Matty Cash is the only recognized player on the squad right now.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden, meanwhile, was just called back from his season-long loan at Plymouth Argyle. He played in 24 Championship games for Argyle this season, and it looks like he’s going to leave the team this

window—either permanently or on another loan.

Two players that are free to depart Villa are Chambers and Bertrand Troare, as the team is now operating under a one-in, one-out philosophy.
