In-demand Bojan Miovski has handed Aberdeen a huge boost by insisting he’s in no rush to leave Pittodrie.

The Dons striker has netted 15 goals this season including four in Europe and has been attracting plenty of

interest.

Celtic have been linked with a move for the North Macedonian international while Southampton are

also monitoring the frontman alongside clubs in Serie A and the Bundesliga. But the 24-year-old has stressed he

is happy with Barry Robson’s side and insisted he won’t let the speculation get to him – with Aberdeen looking

for upwards of £5million to consider a sale.

Before securing a transfer to MTK Budapest, Miovski played his formative years at Bregalnica, his first club, in

Stip. He went to his hometown to give the club an Aberdeen jersey. He was also questioned about his intentions

to leave Aberdeen during the current transfer window.

“I am on vacation here until Sunday, and it’s always nice when I get to spend some time at home,” Miovski

stated. “In the past five years, I never spent these holidays at

home because I always had football-related responsibilities.”

“I have been in Aberdeen for a year and a half and I am very satisfied and I also hope that the people in Aberdeen

are happy with me too. So far, I have scored 33 goals for the club.”

Dons assistant manager Steve Agnew insisted this week the club are in no rush to sell their talisman – who cost

just £600,000 when he signed from Hungary. Agnew said: “Bojan has got unbelievable movement as a striker

and is a clinical finisher. He scored 18 goals last season and has 15 this season.
