Doctor issues Sam Lammers medical claim as Rangers transfer news emerges this week
If Rangers attacker Sam Lammers decides to leave Ibrox during the January transfer window, Dr Rajpal Brar says
he should pass his physical.
The injury specialist is aware of the knee surgery he underwent during the 2019–20 season, but she has also reviewed his fitness
history and finds no cause for concern.
He does assert, however, that the club signing him will take a look at his overall fitness and that appears to be FC Utrecht as
the Scottish Herald reported on 9 January that the deal could be completed this week.
Brar, a physical therapist and sports scientist, spoke exclusively with Ibrox News about Lambers’ predicament. He stated that the club
management will be disappointed that the player’s move to the Rangers has not gone as planned.
He was signed by Michael Beale, but the Dutchman was not able to reach his full potential under his leadership,
thus Philippe Clement chose to pursue other avenues.
In his 17 league games this season for Rangers, the 26-year-old has only managed one assist and two goals.
