Celtic Face Heavyweight Competition For Hacken Midfielder

Romeo Amane, a midfielder linked to Celtic, is being pursued by Dutch powerhouse

Ajax during this month’s transfer window.

In order to prepare themselves to defeat Rangers’ title threat and maintain

their position atop the domestic ladder,

Celtic is looking to bolster their team.

Brendan Rodgers is rumoured to have Hacken star Amane on his shortlist of midfield players that

he wants to add to his team.

The 20-year-old midfielder is highly regarded by the Swedish team,

having joined Hacken in January 2022.

Hacken has played in the Europa League on a regular basis this season and

has made 59 appearances for Hacken thus far.

However, Celtic will have fierce competition as Ajax has reportedly entered

the ongoing market to sign Amane, according to French publication Foot Mercato.

The Dutch team is having trouble this year,

and they hope to strengthen their midfield by adding Amane to their roster.

The contract that Amane has with Hacken is scheduled to expire at the end of December 2026,

and Celtic has not yet made an attempt to sign the Ivorian.
