Clement Lenglet is set to stay with Aston Villa for the rest of the season despite interest from several

clubs, according to the Independent.

Aston Villa signed the centre-back on a season-long loan from Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

Lenglet has been a regular in Aston Villa’s Europa Conference League games this season but has featured only in

three league games so far for Unai Emery’s side.

There are numerous teams interested in signing the French defender, so there is no shortage of suitors on the

market.

Furthermore, it has been reported that Lenglet is still keen to quit the Villa Park group even after speaking with

Emery.

After the injury to Tyron Mings, which has ruled him out for the rest of the campaign,

Villa have been left short in the centre-back department.

Lenglet has started the last four games for Aston Villa and Emery will be hoping that the French defender keeps

on performing well to help his team finish in the top four.

Now it has been claimed that Aston Villa have ruled out an early exit for the Barcelona centre-back this month.
