At the eleventh hour, the Celtic Exit fails

Siegrist is now somewhat of a lurcher as the Austrians, who had been eager to have him join the team, have chosen to

look elsewhere.

Everything appeared to be in place for a loan agreement, but Sturm Graz turned their attention to Vitezlav Jaros of

Liverpool. Siegrist is now in a difficult situation at Celtic.

After failing to establish himself under Ange Postecoglou, Siegrist was demoted and Brendan Rodgers indicated that

he preferred Scott Bain to be Joe Hart’s backup.

He now needs to consider his options again. This season, the Swiss stopper changed agencies in an attempt to find a

new team. With the transfer window shutting in three weeks, Siegrist and his team will need to start over in order to

discover a new course of action because time is running out.
