Lions’ Dan Campbell Gets Candid on TE Sam LaPorta’s Chance to Play in Postseason

After the Detroit Lions defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Week 18,

tight end Sam LaPorta’s knee injury was not as serious as it first appeared.

This was stated by head coach Dan Campbell of the team.

Campbell provided additional confirmation of such during his subsequent press conference.

On January 8, Campbell informed reporters that LaPorta

might be able to play when the Lions meet the Los Angeles Rams during Wild Card weekend.

“Now that LaPorta has an outside shot,”

Campbell told the press. We’ll see, then.

We will learn a great deal from him in the course of 48 hours.

However, he has an outside chance.
