Ty Bracey believes the club will accept the “Astronomical” bid following Fab Romano’s Aston Villa report.
For Crysencio Summerville to join Aston Villa in January, Leeds United will insist that they pay a “astronomical” amount.
On December 25, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted that Villa is one of the clubs now keeping an eye on the 22-year-old.
But after making 23 appearances in the Championship this season, scoring 12 goals and dishing out six assists, he disclosed that the Elland Road team has no intention of selling the Dutch winger during this window.
Summerville would be a “great addition” to the Villans’ team, according to Bracey, but Leeds will do all in their power to cling onto him as they attempt to return to the Premier League this season.
“He’s doing very well in the Championship,” Bracey remarked in an exclusive interview with Villa News.
He could want to stick with it for the remainder of the season since he will undoubtedly want to see Leeds return to the Premier League. However, I believe Leeds has put up a big, understandable “not for sale” sign on him. They are currently fourth in the Championship, therefore I believe holding onto him is essential.
Although I believe it would be a smart business move and a fantastic addition for Villa, I also believe they absolutely need him. However, I am aware that Leeds will push back against that.
“No club, especially one that is pushing for promotion in the Championship, wants to lose players in January. Although they won’t finish ahead of Leicester, second place is definitely up for grabs.
“I believe they will most likely hang onto him unless an enormous sum of money is offered.”
