Dapo Mebude, a former Rangers player, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after colliding with his automobile and breaking major bones.

According to reports from the Belgian newspaper GVA, the event happened early on Sunday.

Around nine in the morning, Mebude’s car is reported to have gone off the road and collided with a tree when he was heading towards Brussels close to Zedelgem.

The 22-year-old was pulled from his automobile by firefighters, and after being taken to a hospital in Bruges,

Belgian police report that he is still in critical condition.

After initially enrolling in the club’s development programme at the age of ten,

the 22-year-old spent ten years at Ibrox.
