Unai Emery’s team needed a late goal from Matty Cash to win at Riverside Stadium, so it makes sense that the right-

back was overjoyed following the game.

In his post-match interview, the Aston Villa man shared that he has a ‘full-back coach’, which seemingly took

presenter Mark Chapman by surprise, as broadcast on BBC One.

Matty Cash stated that the fullback coach ‘works closely’ with him, including the wingers, and how the detail on the

training ground from Unai Emery is just ‘crazy’.

That shouldn’t be a surprise given the year Aston Villa have just had and how the team is showing signs of

progressing even further.

It’s just great to see the team finally progress in the FA Cup and now, hopefully, go on a bit of a run.

If that is to happen, then players like Matty Cash are going to be very, very crucial as he shared his thoughts after the

game.
