Turner might win the WSL Goal of the Month award
Dan Turner is a candidate for December Goal of the Month in the Barclays WSL.
The defender, who stunned Manchester City at Joie Stadium prior to the winter break, has been nominated for an award.
Turner scored an incredible volley with her right foot in the seventh minute of the league match, going past Khiara Keating and into the far corner after latching onto a cross from Kenza Dali.
The 32-year-old, who opened her Aston Villa account in November, has scored twice this season, capping off another successful campaign.
Voting for Turner is open right now and closes on Monday, January 8 at 10 a.m.
