Golden State Warriors Reportedly Expected to Make Trade

The Warriors may make a trade before the deadline

The Golden State Warriors have not done much at all during the trade deadline in previous years, either staying put or making small transactions that usually don’t have a significant impact.

Anthony Slater of The Athletic recently stated on 95.7 The Game that he believes the Warriors will make a trade:
This information was released soon after The Athletic revealed that Jonathan Kuminga no longer has faith in Steve Kerr to maximize his development.

Slater continued, saying that he hasn’t always felt this way because Golden State usually decides to hold onto its roster as the trade deadline approaches.
Their assumption that their core of Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and others would be sufficient to make a deep run has been the main cause of this, but that doesn’t appear to be the case now.
After winning a championship in 2022, the Warriors returned with a squad that was almost unchanged despite the absence of a few important role players. However, it became clear early in the season that they were not even close to contending.
Although the dynamic between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole helped with that, Golden State’s problems this season have shown to be significantly more numerous.

It is evident that the 16–18 Warriors are not performing at the level they should be.
They really need a push. Could they be fixed by a trade? That is yet to be determined, although Anthony Slater says one is anticipated.
