Despite having weeks off before their next game,

Philippe Clement has already assured Rangers supporters that he won’t be taking a rest this winter.

Before their training camp in La Manga, the players have been told they can have a week to themselves.

However, the manager disclosed last week that there is still too much work to be done,

including watching players this month. Now that the transfer window is officially open,

Clement and director of recruiting Nils Koppen will probably be busy watching prospective recruits and attending games as they look to bolster their roster.

Due to rumours of interest in players like Josh Doig, Million Manhoef,

and Kai Wagner, fans have been on tenterhooks, waiting for any kind of signal.

Now, assistant manager Stephan van der Heyden has intensified the anticipation with a social media post.

The coach shared a photo from the airport and hinted that he would be on his way to observe a prospective new player or signing in order to submit the results of his scouting expedition to the manager and his head of recruiting.

The flight board that Van der Heyden had placed included prospective destinations such as Frankfurt and Oslo in addition to cities like Cologne, Geneva, Madrid, and Copenhagen.

A few admirers even pleaded to be informed of the secret in the comments section.
