Given their financial limitations, West Ham, who are renowned for their strategic approach in the transfer market,
may find Gallagher’s fee to be prohibitive. Securing Gallagher’s services could put a strain on the club’s finances, as
seen by their prior unwillingness to pay the asking price for him during the previous summer.
Considering that West Ham has other needs to fill in the current transfer window, such a wide attacker or a top
striker, chasing Gallagher could not be in line with their financial prudence or immediate needs.
Additionally, Tottenham will be prepared to pay him more than West Ham will.
