West Ham must pay £31.5 million to buy a left-back from the biggest teams in the Premier League

worth it.

Maatsen would undoubtedly be a significant improvement over Cresswell and give Emerson appropriate competition

as well as cover. The young defender has an excellent engine and is really quick. He possesses remarkable technical

skill and exudes comfort in the role.

In 39 Championship appearances for the Clarets during the 2022–2023 season, the young player finished with four

goals and six assists (Who Scored). He will undoubtedly be excellent in the future. While £31.5 million may seem like

a lot of money, for a gifted young player these days, it’s certainly standard operating procedure.

Maatsen is a Netherlands under-21 international who will surely play senior international football for his nation.

In my opinion, the Chelsea left-back, who West Ham paid slightly over £31 million for in January, will be worth

twice as much in a few years.
