The Golden State Warriors are heading into a brand-new year as they play their first game of 2024 today!

The Orlando Magic, who the Dubs lost at home to last season and whom I’m sure the home team will be looking to exact revenge on, will stand in their way.

Steve Kerr: “We haven’t discovered the tenacity that every team requires, the ability to come together and compete as a unit. That is an issue. We’re going to stay here until this team truly gels in a way that is committed to winning every game.” screenshot.twitter.com/AI2ohsGQOe

The Dubs had not lost at home to Orlando in ten years when the Magic defeated the Warriors in Chase Centre last year.

In the 2012–2013 season setback,

Draymond Green came off the bench and joined Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson on the court.

The Splash Bros will once more enter the court simultaneously while Green is absent from the squad due to suspension.

In the meantime, the Magic have had more lineup changes than the Power Rangers,

which is evidence of how uncommon it is for a player

let alone a trio—to stick with a team for more than ten years.

However, the current Magic team has a tonne of promise;

they lead the Southeast Division and currently have a 19-13 record.

Even with how lacklustre Charlotte, Washington, and Atlanta have been,

there’s a chance that division may come down to a race between two Florida teams.

They are motivated by a certain young athleticism and agility,

but don’t just take my word for it—ask Phoenix Suns coach Frank Vogel:

In his interview following yesterday’s shoot-around, Vogel stated,

“Those two guys, Franz [Wagner] and Paolo [Banchero], they’re elite offensive players,

even though they’re young players.”

“They [Orlando] do not have to wait on those folks in this situation. They are currently engaged in it.

Their diversity is really amazing,

as they both scored the ball at a very high rate in a number of methods right out of the gate.

Since this day, the Orlando Magic have defeated the Warriors 3-0. This link: t.co/0vPQoirBKu
