Although we haven’t seen Rafael Nadal play a match yet, rumours about him returning to the tennis courts are beginning to circulate.

We’ve been hearing this story about how great Nadal is on the court for a while now, and it keeps getting stronger.

With numerous of his colleagues collaborating with Arthur Fils in Kuwait, Richard Gasquet in Mallorca, and Holger Rune in Brisbane,

the Spaniard has been working hard over the past month.

They were all quite positive about Nadal and his game,

and when the Spaniard himself mentioned in a recent interview that he was feeling very good, well, it’s happening.

Rune’s comment that Rafael Nadal played in their practice session before the Brisbane International in 2024 was “unbelievable,”

which gave followers of the tennis player a lot of hope.

It’s odd since I told my teammates that I thought he played amazing after practice.

We were striking each other. He was striking hard.

He used to hit really hard. Then we started playing points,

and I noticed that he was moving really quickly and well from side to side.

I find his intensity to be astounding.

It’s great to hear that Rafael Nadal is performing so well because his comeback to nearly peak form would add even more intrigue to the already thrilling 2024 season.

The real test will undoubtedly come with an actual match, but nothing that we’ve heard should worry supporters.

Because of Nadal’s passion, Rune even went so far as to declare that it was the hardest session he had recently.

I played in what I believe to have been an extremely difficult preseason and postseason last year,

and I would say that was the hardest session I’ve had in the past six months.

It makes sense since, following such a complex injury and surgery,

he was determined not to return until he thought he could play as well as one could wish.

This explains why it took him so long to recover.
