Rangers now in hunt to sign next Jack Grealish, £750k enough to seal deal – report
Young Liam Brazier of Port Vale is being watched by Rangers,
but The Sun claims that Borussia Dortmund is leading the chase for his signature.
The 16-year-old, who has been compared to Jack Grealish,
is reportedly being followed by a number of European clubs,
including Dortmund, Rangers, Brentford, Crystal Palace, Bayern Munich, PSG, and Juventus,
according to a newspaper article published on December 29.
When the teenage talent signs with the Vale for his first professional contract when he turns 17 next month,
it is understood that the club is looking at a price tag of £750,000 for him.
Talent throughout generations?
Dortmund is leading the race from teams throughout Europe to sign Brazier,
but they still have competition. Rangers,
however one of the less well-known teams among the interested parties,
might be a tempting offer for the young player.
Young players can thrive at Ibrox, and Ross McCausland is a prime example of this,
especially with Philippe Clement guiding them. And with an aged team at his disposal,
it’s more crucial than ever to look ahead.
While Dortmund is a formidable force in developing young players,
Nils Koppen may have a significant influence in enticing the Vale forward to Rangers.
But Brazier is a very exciting talent, and in the January transfer window,
all efforts should be made to acquire the young player.
He was about to be included in the England Under 17 squad,
but injuries have prevented him from competing for his country.
However, his three senior Vale outings along with his impressive reserve team performances
have been sufficient to convince several European powerhouses of his extraordinary skill.
