According to sources who spoke with Football Insider,

Rangers are in a good position to land prolific loanee Abdallah Sima on a permanent deal in the summer.

The Brighton loanee’s estimated value is between £10 and $15 million,

but if he continues to play well under Philippe Clement, this might rise.

Abdallah Sima of Rangers celebrates his goal during the Champions League qualifying match at Ibrox Stadium, Glasgow.

Rangers are worried that if Sima’s form continues, they may be priced out of a move, hence it’s thought that discussions over a permanent transfer of Sima are taking place between the Premier League team and the Scottish powerhouse.

But he probably wouldn’t move permanently to Ibrox until the summer, when his loan period expires.

In the event the Seagulls sell for more than this valuation,

Sima would become the club’s all-time record transfer.

It would surpass the £12 million transfer fee paid by a Scottish team to

send Andre Flo from Chelsea to Ibrox in 2000.

With 14 goals and two assists across all competitions this season,

the 22-year-old has established himself as one of Rangers’ greatest performers.

Due to his versatility, the attacker has been the Gers’ leading scorer this season.

He can play as a wide midfielder or on the left wing.

After scoring three goals in the Europa League group stage and playing a crucial role in

the team’s progression to the knockout stages,

his performances in Europe have been especially noteworthy.

His value would also be significantly impacted by his performance on the continent.

Due to bad weather, Rangers’ home game against Ross County had to be postponed.

On Saturday, December 30, they will play their bitter rivals Celtic at Parkhead.
