AS Roma fans reject the signing of former Juventus star

Supporters of AS Roma aren’t overly excited about Leonardo Bonucci joining their team in the upcoming month.

Jose Mourinho wants to add Bonucci to his team’s defence just six months after he left Juventus to join Union Berlin.

Juventus declared the defence unable to play for them, forcing him to quit Italian football. The Bianconeri parted ways with him because they were not happy with his fitness record from the previous campaign.

Dissatisfied with the circumstances, Bonucci is keen to play football in Italy again, which makes a transfer to AS Roma appear sensible.

But a report on Calciomercato claims that the supporters’ dissatisfaction is what’s putting his trade to Roma in risk. According to the article, a lot of supporters have expressed their disapproval of the idea of him joining their squad on social media.

Roma’s decision to add the seasoned defender to their roster or to ignore the opinions of the supporters is still up in the air.

Juventus FC Declares

Given the chance to prove to Juventus that he is still capable of playing at the highest level and that they made the wrong decision in letting him leave, Bonucci will seize the chance to rejoin Serie A.

However, we have moved on from him and don’t give a damn which Italian side he chooses to join.
