Analyst Blasts NFL Teams For Ignoring Lamar Jackson This Past Offseason
In the event of a catastrophe, Lamar Jackson will be the league’s Most Valuable Player and
the Baltimore Ravens will be the AFC’s top seed.
All of that shouldn’t be shocking considering that Jackson is
still in his prime and the Ravens are among the best teams in the league on both sides of the ball.
Even so, it’s absurd to imagine that none of this would have
occurred if just one organisation had come out and expressed
even a passing interest in Jackson’s abilities.
The Ravens essentially made Jackson available,
which is why NFL expert Craig Carton blasted the league.
Jackson is now demonstrating that he was more than deserving of the two first-round picks
the Ravens would have acquired for him (via The Carton Show).
“The Ravens were willing to walk away from Lamar Jackson who now is rewarding
their decision to give him all that money with an MVP calibre season.”

Jackson is being used as a scapegoat by the league, according to many players and fans.
They blatantly stated that they weren’t even interested in the quarterback,
which is why they think they were attempting to suppress the quarterback market.
Jackson eventually got the contract he deserved when the Ravens and him worked things out,
but what kind of message did teams send when they made it clear they didn’t want him?
With Jackson at the quarterback position, clubs like the Pittsburgh Steelers, Atlanta Falcons,
Las Vegas Raiders, and Washington Commanders might have all been contenders for the postseason.
Luckily, everything turned out okay in the end,
but he had better hold onto those receipts because this is a cutthroat industry.
