Steve Kerr Gets Brutally Honest On Jordan Poole’s Tenure With Warriors
Jordan Poole’s final moments with the Golden State Warriors are something Steve Kerr detests.
After Draymond Green gave him a punch to the face during the previous season, Poole was dealt to the Washington Wizards in July.
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Kerr stated, “I look back at that and I hate that it happened.”
“In my heart, I know that we responded to the punch the best way we could have known how to respond.” However,
looking back, which is always 20/20, we could have done things differently.
I simply detest how Jordan’s story ended since he is a true success. Both he and we had a wonderful marriage.

Poole assisted the Warriors in defeating the Boston Celtics to win the 2022 championship. In October 2022,
Poole inked a $128 million, four-year contract with the Warriors. After the Green punch,
everyone believed that Poole would play his entire career for Golden State.
sKerr remarked, “He had to learn the hard way, but he worked his ass off and earned everything.”

The Michigan product will play his former squad tomorrow when he returns to Golden State.
For the Wizards this season, Poole is averaging 17.4 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists. He’s shooting 41.6% from the field, 32.5% from 3 and 86.4% from the free-throw line.
