Kristaps Porzingis Praises Celtics’ Offensive Approach in Win vs. Kings: ‘Keep Evolving’ The Boston Celtics overcame a painful 132-

126 overtime loss to the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night by winning a comeback game on Wednesday night at the Golden 1 Center.

Not every victory is equal, and defeating the Sacramento Kings is not as significant as defeating the

Boston club in the 2022 NBA Finals.

However, dominating the Kings on the second night of a back-to-back without Jayson Tatum and Al Horford serves as a powerful

reminder of this team’s capacity to stop one setback from turning into a streak of poor performances.

The Celtics defeated Sacramento 144-119, despite their high-octane offense, by outscoring them 30-6 on the fast break and having five

players score at least 20 points. The hosts were only able to make six three-pointers in the middle two quarters.

They returned to their signature style of basketball, where their defense set the stage for their offense

and they played at a fast pace to keep everyone in the game.

Kristaps Porzingis, who finished with 24 points, nine rebounds, and six blocks, spoke with NBATV’s Dennis Scott following the game

to discuss his thoughts on Boston’s offensive strategy.

“We were mixing it up a little more,” stated the seven-foot-three center. “We weren’t just shooting threes.

We were getting the ball in and then kicking out for threes. Or whoever was overhelping or double-teaming,

we were trying to hit the open guy, get open looks, and sooner or later, they’re gonna fall, like tonight they were falling.”

Porzingis also said of the Celtics’ success, boasting a 21-6 record, tops in the NBA, “We take pride that we want to keep this going.
