LeBron James Reacts to Steph Curry Dominating Celtics
The Golden State Warriors’ season has been extremely up and down, but they still have what it takes to compete with
the Boston Celtics. Since the 2022 NBA Finals, the Warriors seem to have an advantage mentally over Boston, which
makes sense given how that series ended.
The Warriors were two games below.500 at 12-14 going into Tuesday night’s game,
while the Celtics were tied for the best record in basketball at 20-5. Nevertheless, there’s something about this
matchup that brings out the best in Steph Curry and Golden State as a whole.
Curry was on a roll late in the game, scoring 13 of his 34 points—including the game-winning three that
shut out Boston—in the fourth quarter. LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers shared
this tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter) after that big three:
Tuesday’s Lakers off-day allowed James to participate in TNT’s double header.
Ja Morant’s game-winning shot on his return from suspension opened this thrilling basketball evening, and Curry’s
commanding effort against the Celtics closed it out.
Curry appears to perform at a higher level whenever he plays the Celtics, having won his first MVP award in the
Finals in 2022. Although the Warriors will need to learn from this and incorporate
it into their next games, this might be a turning point in their career.
