Villarreal has already discussed a possible recall of Arnaut Danjuma from his loan term,

therefore he may have already left Everton.

On December 20, the news source stated on their website that Villarreal sees Danjuma as a ready-

made answer to their winger problems,

since Ben Brereton-Diaz may be leaving and Yeremi Pino is injured.

The winger has made just 12 appearances and scored just two goals since joining Everton on loan in the summer,

which has many believing that a return to Spain would be his best choice.

In recent weeks, it has become very evident that Dyche doesn’t think highly of Danjuma.

His only minutes in Everton’s previous five games came from the bench during

the Carabao Cup penalty defeat to Fulham, where he played for eighteen minutes.

Danjuma has actually only made three appearances in Everton’s last ten games,

and his lone start came in a League Cup matchup against Burnley.

Danjuma is struggling to find a spot in the team and doesn’t seem to fit into any position in the current tactical setup,

despite the fact that the team’s form has significantly improved under Dyche’s direction.

He lacks the work ethic to play on the wing and the physicality to play up front.

It has seemed to him that the deal was made more out of opportunity than desire ever since he moved to Goodison Park.

Everton pounced on the opportunity to sign a player on loan who they had previously coveted.

It’s unclear how, if at all, he fits into Dyche’s squad,

so returning to Villarreal might be the best option for everyone.

The only negative aspect would be that Dyche’s team at Goodison Park would have less depth.
