Steph Curry’s Status vs. Boston Celtics Revealed
A 2022 NBA Finals rematch between the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors is scheduled.
In a 2022 NBA Finals rematch, the Golden State Warriors and Boston Celtics square off on Tuesday night. Whenever these two teams play, it’s always interesting, especially when they’re both playing close to full strength. The NBA has suspended Draymond Green indefinitely, so the Warriors will be without him for this game, but they will still have their star point guard, Steph Curry, available.
Curry just played the worst game of the year, maybe not the worst game in years. For the first time since 2018, Curry failed to make a three-point shot in a game, ending his illustrious run of straight games with one. Curry’s poor performance disappointed him and his supporters, but the Warriors overcame it and defeated the Portland Trail Blazers.
With an uphill battle in the Western Conference rankings, the Warriors need every victory they can get at this time in the season. The Celtics present a formidable challenge to any team, and the Warriors will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday.
Since winning his first career Finals MVP title in the 2022 NBA Finals, Curry has appeared to play well against Boston. With an eye towards repeating some of that series’ performance, Curry has an opportunity to improve on his subpar shooting performance versus Portland.
