Ally McCoist in Celtic Christmas jibe as he makes Rangers derby claim
Ally McCoist, a Rangers star, made fun of Celtic supporters by saying he thought the Ibrox team will “batter” the Hoops in their upcoming match.
The former Scotland international is excited about the match, which takes place at Parkhead on December 30.
With their 1-0 victory over Aberdeen on Sunday, Rangers won the League Cup for the first time since 2011. Should they overcome St Johnstone, they might cut the lead in the Scottish Premiership to just two points.

Jim White, a radio host, has disclosed that during his tenure as Rangers manager, Michael Beale would occasionally send him notes
criticizing remarks made by analysts.
This occurs as co-host Simon Jordan, upon his promotion as Sunderland’s new manager,

Tony Mowbray, who was fired by Rangers a few months ago for not performing well, was replaced by the Englishman at the Stadium of Light.
White stated on talkSPORT that the criticism “got to him a bit.” He used to send me messages while you were digging him out, Jordan.”
Beale discussed his resignation from the Light Blues in his first interview as Sunderland’s manager,
asserting that he took on too much responsibility there.
Jordan, however, was dissatisfied with the 43-year-old’s remarks and asserted that the former assistant of Steven Gerrard “made a fool of himself” in Glasgow.
“Oh, please stop talking! Give up and carry out your work. It’s not about transformation; it’s about your shortcomings,” he remarked.
