ADMITS VIOLENT CRIMES TEST LOCK

The 37-year-old lock came before a Cardiff court and entered a guilty plea to

two counts of assault by penetration and one count of sexual assault.

Two days prior to the Barbarians vs. Wales game at the Millennium Stadium on November 4,

the offences against the three women occurred between October 31 and November 2.

Ratuniyarawa was supposed to be on the bench for the game.

Ratuniyarawa joined French side Bayonne on a short-term contract after London Irish went into receivership,

and he was called up to Fiji’s Rugby World Cup team in October.

FIJI Internationals are scheduled to be sent in the upcoming year.

His attorney, Ruth Smith, stated that her client, a married father of four small children,

had been hoped that an invitational side appearance would result in a new agreement.

She said that the primary cause of the offence was alcohol consumption.

Ratuniyarawa pled not guilty to two more allegations of sexual assault against one of the three women;

the prosecution accepted his pleas.

The player was placed on the sex offenders registry and granted conditional bail by a Cardiff Crown judge,

pending his sentencing on January 9.
