Everton are ‘expected to’ choose this new kit provider in 2024
Everton, given the struggles felt both on and off the field in recent years, have had to be laser-focused on ensuring that the important stuff was prioritised.
Things like their ongoing stadium construction, balancing the books and, most importantly, remaining in the Premier League.
Because of this, aspects like sponsorship agreements and kit suppliers may have suffered as a result, with the majority of the fan base showing little interest in the shirt’s quality as long as the players wearing it were performing.
Now that they are at last, the focus appears to be on identifying the potential next company to falsify Everton’s uniforms.
After three successful years in which they did produce some of the nicest kits in recent memory, their contract with Hummel is scheduled to expire at the end of current year, and there hasn’t been much talk of a renewal.
However, the Liverpool ECHO is now attempting to identify a new player who may be poised to make a move to acquire the Toffees for their expanding portfolio.
“The ECHO understands, having spoken with industry insiders, that Castore is expected to be the club’s kit partner starting in 2024/25, even though nothing has been agreed upon.”
How much were Everton paid for their Hummel kit sponsorship?
Since joining Umbro in 2014, the team’s name has come to represent a contemporary Everton that has witnessed significant transformations, particularly in the dugout.
In 2020, they implemented a provision in their annual contract worth around £4 million to switch providers, and they welcomed Danish company Hummel as a new partner.
Since then, their attention to detail and capacity to honor the club have been praised, despite certain concerns they have had regarding the quality of certain products.
Furthermore, their fee increased significantly from the previous agreement, bringing in £9 million annually.
But that’s how different the top teams in the Premier League are from the bottom ones; at about the same time, Nike signed a £30 million-a-year contract with Liverpool. How much Castore might be offering is still uncertain.
