Late Departure

Adam Brett had departed the club,

according to information that Mokbel posted on Tuesday afternoon.

The head of Brighton’s medical and performance departments,

who was described as “a key member of Roberto De Zerbi’s staff,”

had previously worked at Gloucester Rugby and the RFU.

Since 2014, the Englishman has played with the Seagulls.

The journalist provided more information and expressed gratitude in his Daily Mail piece.

It’s thought that Brett quit his position “in recent weeks.”

Brighton has not yet provided an explanation for the departure of a longstanding employee.

To take care of their first team,

the Seagulls are currently searching for a new physician.

Brett progressed through the ranks at Amex Stadium really fast.

In less than a year after joining in 2014,

he was elevated to the position of chief of medical services.

He was “appointed head of medical and performance” in 2020 as

Brighton started to make a name for themselves in the Premier League and as a

potential contender for European spots.

The upcoming matches for Brighton

The Seagulls are still engaged in both domestic and continental tournaments,

despite the loss of Brett as an experienced figure in the locker rooms.

De Zerbi’s team would win their Europa League group if they defeated Marseille on Thursday.

They are aiming for the club’s first European trophy.

Brighton will go to Arsenal this coming weekend.
