As part of an agreement that might send Gunners starlet Charlie Patino to Serie A powerhouse Juventus, Arsenal may be given the opportunity to lure former Everton flop Moise Kean back to the Premier League.

That is according to Michele Fratini, an agent and talent scout based over in Italy.

A few weeks ago, he revealed to Rai Sport that the Arsenal young player was being courted by a bevy of Serie A heavyweights, including Napoli, AC Milan, and Inter.

However, Fratini now asserts that Juventus might have a secret weapon as the Bianconeri try to fend off rivals for a playmaker valued at £25 million who is receiving high marks for his performances while on loan at Swansea City.

Juventus like Arsenal starlet Charlie Patino

“Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City, who is a more physical player than Patin Charlieo from Arsenal, is the two names for Juventus’ midfield. He reminds me of Edgar Davids.

Fratini describes the former Leeds star as “physical and good at (stopping) counter-attacks,” drawing comparisons to a legendary player in Serie A.

Patino is the alternative. It’s a poor quality Juventus team these days. Additionally, since Juventus has four attackers and Kean would be involved in the negotiations, they may sign Patino with ease.

It remains to be seen, of course, how Arsenal feels about the idea of bringing Moise Kean back to England for a second chance at the Premier League.

The Italy international signed a £27 million contract with Everton back in 2019, but he only managed two goals in the Premier League. Kean has not found the net even once during the current campaign, meanwhile.

The broad-shouldered centre-forward is still only 23 years of age, however. There is undoubtedly a player of serious potential in there somewhere.

Kean once scored 17 goals during a terrific loan spell at perennial French champions Paris Saint-Germain after all.

Gunners urged to make Ivan Toney move

Paul Merson, an Arsenal legend, has signed a striker that just jumps out of the page for a team hoping to make a move from bridesmaids to brides this season.

Without a center striker, how many teams are able to function? What might be the cause of Arsenal’s demise this year? The lack of a center forward will be the problem, Merson argues in his Sky Sports blog. “They were superior to Aston Villa over the weekend, but they were unable to score.”

If Arsenal is to make any progress this season, I believe they may require (Ivan) Toney of Brentford.
