Sean Dyche of Everton discusses what the “unlucky” Dele Alli told him about his injury.

The 27-year-old is back training on the grass after suffering a setback with his hip injury at the beginning of October,

according to the Toffees manager, who made this statement in an interview with The Guardian on Wednesday, December 6.

But he added that the English midfielder told him he was “feeling great”

when he saw him earlier this week, with Dyche hoping he will start “blending in”

with the rest of the squad over the next week or so.

“The actual freedom to join in with us is not there yet, but he is back on the grass with the sports science/fitness side,

going through football-related drills,” Dyche stated.

It is hoped that he will begin to fit in throughout the upcoming week.

Getting him back with us would be incredibly satisfying for him because he has been so unlucky,

but he still has a ways to go because he has been gone for a long time and requires a game program.

“The last time he was scheduled to participate, 12–13 weeks ago, he was really

unfortunate with the harm that was done. The good news is that he is feeling well and that things are starting to calm down.

He said, “I’m feeling great,” when I saw him earlier.

The good news is that Alli is doing well despite the setback he experienced two months ago,

as he attempts to get back into fitness.

When the midfielder eventually makes his way back to the team, he will be hoping to move

past the terrible times of the previous few years.

However, Dyche will be careful not to expect too much of him too soon since the last thing anyone

wants is for him to get hurt again and miss even more time.

If the Englishman can get back to anywhere near his best, then he could prove to be a real

asset for the Toffees throughout the rest of the season.

There is no doubt that the Blues faithful will be right behind him after they showed him

great support recently when he opened up about the terrible problems he faced in his childhood.
