According to reports, Celtic is considering making a transfer move for Aberdeen player Bojan Miovski in January

Since joining the Dons, the North Macedonian striker has been a big success,

netting 18 goals in his last campaign and 11 so far this year.

According to The Sun, Brendan Rodgers has scouted Miovski at every game this season,

demonstrating his immense admiration for the player.

Kyogo Furuhashi, Daizen Maeda, and Oh Hyeon-gyu are all expected to play in the Asia Cup soon after the new year,

which means that Celtic is looking to enhance its attacking options in January.

According to the narrative, in order for Celtic to acquire a player’s services during the January transfer window,

they would have to pay a record amount for the player’s sale between two Scottish teams.

As of right now, that record is £4.4 million, which Celtic paid Hibs for Scott Brown,

but it’s known that Aberdeen is expecting more.

Although Aberdeen is eager to have Miovski on their roster for the duration of the season at the very least,

it is reported that they are aware that he will probably quit the team soon.

Miovski has been a big success in the Scottish Premiership since joining Granite City eighteen months ago for the incredible price of £650,000 from MTK Budapest.

Rangers have reportedly scouted Miovski, according to The Sun,

but the fee under discussion will probably force the Ibrox team to withdraw from January’s negotiations.

Prior to the January transfer window,

English clubs are reportedly keeping an eye on the striker’s condition.

Aberdeen’s CEO, Alan Burrows, stated in a May speech that the company is not under any pressure to sell.

“We will be extremely difficult to deal with if somebody tries to take away our best assets,

especially ones that are under long contracts.”
