The Italian tactician has garnered praise for his work at Brighton, and although he certainly helped bring out the best in players like Moises Caicedo and Alexis Mac Allister,

he has also managed to manage surprisingly well without them following their summer transfers to Chelsea and Liverpool, respectively.

In previous years, Brighton has also profited from other key players like Marc Cucurella, Yves Bissouma, Ben White, and Leandro Trossard;

Fabrizio Romano anticipates that the Seagulls will stick to this strategy.

Romano wouldn’t mention names in his exclusive interview with CaughtOffside for his Daily Briefing piece today,

but he did make it apparent that more players may soon depart Brighton for larger teams if the proper funding is received.

According to Romano, “their system—or at least what they want to do—will always be to cash in on their best players for a profit.”

“It’s still early to tell what they plan to do in the summer with regard to selling players,

but more ‘big names’ should be on the market soon. but only if they get some insanely high bids.

“At this point, it’s too soon to discuss names, but maybe in the upcoming months,

it will become evident which players are top priorities for European elite clubs,

and then we’ll see what kind of money Brighton demand.”

Could this indicate that Evan Ferguson or Kaoru Mitoma’s transition is just a question of time?

Who would you like to see the Brighton club sign for?
