After Jack Grealish was ruled out of Manchester City’s Wednesday trip to Villa Park, Aston Villa supporters took to social media.

The 28-year-old was given his fifth yellow card during the Etihad Stadium encounter against Tottenham.

Grealish who replaced Jeremy Doku in the 52nd minute, had only been on the pitch for less than 10 minutes before he was booked for kicking the ball away.

There is an automatic one-match suspension once a player reaches five yellow cards in the Premier League.

Despite having only eight league games for the Citizens this season, the former Villa captain has managed to pick up several yellow cards in that time.

Doku looks to have injured himself, and Rodri will also miss the game for the same reason somewhere.
